- Enrichment Programme for Upper Primary students

Our COOL programme is specially designed to prepare our Upper Primary students to score for the different components in the PSLE papers mainly

C (Composition and Comprehension)
O (Overall Languages and Vocabulary Competencies)
O (Oral Linguistics Skills)
L (Listening Comprehension Skills)
​
The programme is a further extension of SWING programme to introduce our highly self-motivated students to elements of literature and languages arts at the secondary level to better prepare them for the transition upon graduation. The curriculum is pitched at lower secondary level and much positive feedback have been given by our parents that the transition to secondary for their children has been a breeze thanks to strong anchor on language arts and gradual building of skills over the years through the programmes from lower, middle and upper primary levels.

Proven Versatility and Adaptability
With more emphasis on other goals such as character development, the development of 21st century competencies, fostering the joy of learning and encouraging lifelong learning, the new PSLE scoring model comes into effect in 2021. LATK's emphasis on assessment as a tool for self-discovery and continuous self-directed learning has been well-aligned with MOE's learning outcomes over the years. This is all the more so in view of sweeping reforms expedited by the digital disruptions. Our students have proven themselves to both versatile and adaptable, regardless of changes in assessment policies, as we focus on the means to the end and not the end itself.
